Leroy’s cousin and my step-son grew up together in Santa Fe. I probably ran into him sometime back then . . . probably since I am a car guy, teaching automotive technology at the local high school. I’m also a Vietnam Veteran and give this guy my sharpest salute!
As I read this story, I was overwhelmed with emotion — not just for Master Seargent Leroy Arthur Petry & all the sacrifices & hardships he’s endured, but for how lucky I (we) are to have such a selfless human being fight for our freedom!
