Out for brunch at our favorite restaurant and when all was said and done these two gentlemen turned out to have served in approximately the same time as my husband and we know and have mutual friends in a nearby town.
We had a wonderful conversation about things and people we had in common. It’s strange how the giving of a ATHANK YOU COIN can affect both the person receiving it as well as myself, in so many cases.
Their wives were as appreciative and amazed that I was giving recognition and honor for their service. I received hugs and multiple Thank You comments.
This is my 4th or 5th order of the veteran’s coins and every one I give away is a unique experience. Mr. Childs is a USMC Vietnam veteran who has a museum on Route 66 in Afton, OK not far from my house. We stopped in to visit and when I saw his flag and truck, I immediately headed for the car to grab a coin. I shook his hand, presented the coin, and thanked him for his service. He was speechless and couldn’t take his eyes off the coin. He then said he would put it in a display case in museum with his other coins. He did make the comment that this coin was bigger and much nicer than the other coins. This giveaway was special and one I won’t forget. ☺️
This is only one of 10 given away recently. Including a Female Military Policewoman. Two wonderful hugs, a request to pray for me, my family including 2 of my family who served with the 82nd ABN : OEF/OIF. My Mission continues in honor of my Vietnam spouse who was awarded his wings to heaven.
So typically buy 20 at a time ... the previous order was arranged for the Interment of my Parents in the Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville Florida ... Each of the Honor Guard was presented with one, one got interred with my parents, both Brothers, and ALL the grandchildren received on, plus there were a few Veterans and Church members that attended ... gave one to each in memorium.

Yet another way to honor working veterans, kudos to Lowe’s. All I heard from the other veteran was, “don’t do this to me” almost in tears, very misty eyed. He was so concerned as to ‘why’ I was giving him a Thank You Challenge Coin. I have been doing this since my Vietnam Veteran had Taps played on 15 Oct 2019 for the last time.

We absolutely love the smiles and even the tears of gratitude that the people we give these coins to. These coins mean so much to the veterans and to us by giving them to them and showing our gratitude to them for what they have done for our freedoms! They are so welcome made and mean so much to our veterans!!
I purchased 10 coins and presented them to friends in honor of their service and protection of our Great USA and my Freedom. They were all very appreciative. One is a 3 time Purple Heart and highly decorated Army Ranger from the Viet Nam era, he could not hold back tears while clutching the coin. I wish I could give many more of these beautiful coins away, there are so many forgotten hero's that need to be handed a coin.
Shipping was quick. Well packed. I was surprised that the coins came in individual coin-jewel case and then inside a small Ziplock. The enamel coloring of the coin does not cover or skew the images or lettering like many other coins do.
Lastly, I ordered 30 coins, and received 35 coins, 30 all in a large bag and 5 more loose ones in the box. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but they are very, very nice and appreciated. Any veteran will be proud and happy to receive one of these. "Thank You For Your Service Coins."
I will be ordering more when these run out.
always carry a few on my travels. As a 20 year vet I know when someone says "Thank you for your service" it comes from the heart. I have given many coins and have received much gratitude. A paltry price to pay to give respect to a veteran wherever he or she served.
I can’t show a video of me with your coins because I do it behind the scenes. I do it in recognition service in the community by Police, Emts, clergy, from a retired serviceman. I also recognize spouses of military for their bravery and supporting their spouse during deployment or still serving
What an amazing end of the day. I needed to pick up a few things at the grocery store. Insert short backstory...I have been giving out "Thank You Challenge Coins" for some time, nearly 50 to Vets just around my neck of the woods.
I have had reactions from "ho hum" to tears. It just makes me happy.
Now, back to tonight. I'm meandering around the store when I turned around to face a gentleman wearing a " WWII VETERAN" hat! I froze for a minute whilst I tried to get my mind wrapped around what was happening.
I walked over to him, said thank you, shook his hand. I asked if I could give him something. I presented him the coin. We then began to chat about his past and my father's. 98 years old and pushing a grocery cart!
I turned away as his wife, I think, as she wanted to continue shopping. I walked the length of the cooler and realized "take a picture idiot". I ran back, apologized again for bothering. Here he is.

I found these challenge coins about a year ago. I have purchased a few sets to hand out to the Veteran's that come through my casino restaurant. I started a youtube channel and use this coin as my channel coin. I get so many compliments from it And also a lot of people wanting it. So I ordered more. A beautiful coin. thank you to Your company. It has a very heartfelt meaning to me to have it.
