France had fallen to the Nazis. Allied troops had been evacuated. And a foothold in Northern Europe seemed unlikely. Which is why the events of June 6th 1944, Operation Overlord, under the watchful eye of 5-star General and future President of our great nation, Dwight D. Eisenhower, was so incredible.
More than a million allied troops took part in the D-Day invasions, establishing a front that would hold and advance, eventually leading to victory in World War 2.
And it was in his letter to troops before the D-Day landings that General Eisenhower told his men:
I have full confidence in your devotion to duty and skill in battle.
We will accept nothing less than full Victory!
And they delivered.
2,500+ American troops died that day alone, fighting against tyranny to protect our freedom and liberty. And what better way to honor and remember their sacrifice than by wearing the symbol of their sacrifice above your heart.
This specially designed lapel pin is designed to show the valor and heroism of the men who gave their lives that day so that we can live a life of freedom.
And we believe that is worthy of memorial.
Each pin in this special commemorative collection is limited edition, designed and shipped in the USA, and is unique to Fallen Yet Not Forgotten. Get yours today

I've been making a wall hanging of all the pins I've purchased. Anyone coming into my home makes positive remarks. I've about 10 pins so far and pan to add more (hint hint ) I'm home bound 24/7 but the pins are way of recalling pleasurable events in my life and most important the pride I have for all military especially my husband who Agent Orangge for 12 years but the one battle he eventually lost in 2012

My husband was a Vietnam Veteran with the 101st and 173rd. He was combat engineer and the last 14 years of his life he was 100% disabled. He passed away on June 6th 2017. We were married 47 years and very military. I am proud to where the D Day pin and my husband would wear it also. We visit him at Fort Snelling often although I know he is here with us.
