I was over in VietNam from 1967-1969,Army attached to 3rd marines at Da Nang then went to Dong Ha Qun Tri Providence 29th Civial Affairs 1st year 2nd year went south CamRahn Bay spent time with my brother who came over, he was in the Air Force. In total I guess I spent about 26 months over there. Welcome Home To ALL THE SOLDIERS and Pray for The ONE'S THAT PASSED.

I was fortunate to be invited on an Honor Flight for Vietnam Veterans we had 4 women and 17 males. The oldest Vet's were 94 and 92. I had purchased 20 Vietnam coins to add to the few I still had. I asked the president of Honor Flight of the Appalachian Highlands to hand them out and make it an anonymous gift. I don't need any recognition.. the Vet's and Guardians who were Vietnam Vet's were able to receive a coin.
It took me over thirty-five years to be proud I was a Vietnam Vet, and I know I’m far from being the only one. Handing out these coins to other VN Vets makes me feel like perhaps it’s a rewind back 50+ years when they returned stateside with no fanfare. It is my hope to make someone else’s day just a little bit better!

My husband displays our military challenge coins proudly. From 1966 to 1996, to his son being an active duty Chief, we display our Air Force memorabilia with great pride. My husband is a Purple Heart recipient for wounds he got while in Vietnam. He is very proud to have served.

A beautiful piece. Crisp, clear details in the images. Lettering is decent size and also sharp as a tack. My plan is to write a short Prayer of Gratitude & Remembrance, then randomly hand these coins to Vietnam veterans I see out in this country they helped defend.

I bought the memorial coin to honor those who served. I signed up for the draft in Feb. ‘72 and wasn’t called up to go. As you can see in my photo, I still have my selective service cards.

Coin was bigger than I expected and in plastic case. LOVE the coin as I’m a Vietnam era Vet!!
I had bought those for my brother and my cousin that had recently passed away. He was very proud to serve our country in the Vietnam war. As was my brother. I had put my cousins on his plaque at the cemetery. Unfortunately some low life stole it off of his veterans plaque. I will be ordering another to replace it.

Excellent quality. I've given several of them to Vietnam Vets and they were amazed. This was an excellent way to remember my brother (USMC) who served at Khe Sanh and wounded in action. He passed last year. Sad.
